Responsibilities

The Functions of the Academic Board

Reviewing and approving the curriculum for every IVMA course, ensuring content stays aligned with current industry practice
Setting and maintaining academic standards across all diplomas and certificate programs Evaluating and appointing lecturers, ensuring every instructor holds both formal qualifications and active industry experience
Overseeing student assessment methods, including practical projects, portfolios, and final evaluations
Approving updates to course syllabi as industry trends, tools, and technologies evolve Monitoring student attendance, participation, and overall academic performance across all programs
Reviewing and addressing student grievances related to academic matters
Ensuring certification and diploma awards meet the required standards before issuance Approving the introduction of new courses and programs before they are launched
Maintaining alignment between IVMA's teaching standards and international creative education benchmarks
Overseeing internship, mentorship, and industry partnership programs to ensure genuine student benefit
Conducting periodic reviews of course outcomes and graduate success to guide continuous improvement
