Undergraduate

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

To enroll in any of IVMA's diploma programs, applicants generally need to meet the following requirements:

Successful completion of GCE Advanced Level (A/L), with a minimum of two (2) subject passes
A pass in English at GCE Ordinary Level (O/L), or an equivalent recognized English language qualification
Minimum age of 18 years at the time of enrollment
No entrance examination required for admission

Specific requirements may vary slightly by program. Certificate courses and short intensives (such as the Creative Advertising Program, Cinematography Intensive, and Film & Video Editing Intensive) have no age, gender, or educational barriers, and are open to anyone with genuine passion and commitment to learn.

Alternative Entry Pathway into Diploma Programs

Alternate entry is available to applicants who have not completed the standard requirements outlined above.

Applicants for alternate entry must:

Demonstrate a genuine passion for the craft and a strong likelihood of successfully completing the course, with evidence provided through a portfolio of prior creative work and demonstrated at interview. Applicants should show clear aptitude, supported by evidence of prior vocational experience, self-taught projects, or relevant workplace experience, which will be used to assess suitability for entry into a Diploma course.

On successful application for alternate entry, students will be enrolled directly into the relevant Diploma program, with full access to the same coursework, mentorship, and practical training as all other students.
